Join Queer Metalsmiths and CONNECTOR for a casual community gathering designed to foster meaningful connections beyond conference programming.
CONNECTOR Gatherings create a "third space", an informal social environment where attendees can meet new people, reconnect with familiar faces, and build relationships that extend beyond scheduled events. Taking place between the College for Creative Studies reception and SNAG's Gallery & Studio Crawl Night, this gathering serves as a welcoming connection point for anyone looking to find gallery crawl companions, expand their network, or simply enjoy conversation in a relaxed setting.
We'll gather at the historic reflection pool between the McGregor Memorial Conference Center and the Art Department at Wayne State University, an outdoor gathering space that reflects the spirit of connection and community found in campus quads and commons. Look for balloons, flags, and CONNECTOR signage marking the gathering area.
Whether you're attending SNAG for the first time or reconnecting with longtime colleagues, all are welcome.
