Hi, I’m Sarah.

An artist turned marketer.

I understand the challenges of doing it all. I draw on my wide range of experience to support artists, creatives, and small businesses with marketing, consulting, podcast production, and more — building sustainable systems that fit their goals and budgets.

My Approach

Like many artists, I’ve been the one trying to do it all: creative direction, making, administration, outreach, bookkeeping, branding, and marketing, while still trying to keep my practice alive. That experience led me to begin working fully for myself in 2021, first as a business consultant and eventually as a digital marketing consultant. I didn’t plan to end up here, but I saw a clear need in my creative community for marketing and consultative services designed specifically for artists, makers, and small businesses. A need for support that understands fluctuating income streams and shifting priorities.

I am an artist-turned-marketer, and my values of adaptability, growth, and honesty guide the way I structure my business and offer my services. Because I know the challenges of running a business on your own, I keep my services transparent, budget-conscious, and results-driven. With both project-based and retainer options, I help creatives build sustainable marketing systems at a pace and budget that truly works for them.

FAQ

  • What kinds of clients do you typically work with?
I work with artists, creatives, and small business owners who are often wearing all the hats; creating, managing, marketing, and everything in between. My services are designed for those who need marketing support that’s practical, budget-conscious, and easy to implement.

I’m not sure exactly what I need. Can you help me figure that out?
Absolutely. That’s what my free 30-minute discovery calls are for. We’ll talk through where you’re at, what your goals are, and what kind of support makes sense for you right now. No pressure, no commitments.

Do you offer free consultations before committing to services?
Yes, I offer a free one-on-one introductory call so you can get a feel for my approach and ask questions before deciding to move forward.

  • What if I have a very limited budget? Can I still work with you?
Yes. I understand the challenges of inconsistent income for creatives and small businesses, so I offer flexible options, from one-time projects to phased retainers, to provide support at a pace and price point that suits you.

Do you offer one-time projects or only monthly retainers?
Both. You can hire me for a one-time project (like SEO optimization, email setup, or a marketing kit), or we can work together on a monthly retainer if you want ongoing support.

Can you manage everything for me, or do you focus on setting up systems I can maintain?
I do both. Some clients want me to take full ownership of their digital marketing, while others prefer that I build the systems and provide them with tools to manage it themselves. We’ll figure out the right balance for you.

Do you run paid ad campaigns or just organic marketing?
I handle both. I can create and manage Meta and Google ad campaigns, as well as help you develop organic content strategies to grow your audience sustainably.

How will I know if my marketing is working? Do you provide reports or updates?
Yes. I track results and share updates so you can see what’s working. Depending on the scope, this might include analytics reports, ad performance breakdowns, or a review of your social and email engagement.

  • I’ve never recorded a podcast before. Can you help me with the whole process?
Yes. From concept development and recording setup to editing, publishing, and promotion, I can guide you through the entire process and tailor it to your goals.

Do you offer editing only, or do you also handle hosting, publishing, and promotion?
Both. Some clients require only editing, while others seek full-service production. I can jump in wherever you need support.

Can you produce voiceovers for projects outside of podcasting?
Yes. I offer professional voiceover services for ads, videos, and other projects in addition to podcast work.

What equipment do I need if I want to start recording?
It depends on your goals and budget. For many, a quality microphone and headphones are enough to start. I can help you choose the right setup for your needs.

  • What’s a one-on-one session?
It’s your dedicated hour to get feedback on your work. Some clients use the time for a live audit of their social media or marketing platform, where I walk them through what’s working and what could be improved. Others come with an idea, a project in progress, or specific goals and use the session as a chance to get clear, actionable advice.

Do I need to prepare anything?
Make the most of your investment! I charge $85 per hour so a little preparation is helpful. You can show up with a profile to review, a project to talk through, or just questions that have been on your mind. I’ll adapt the session to your needs.

Will I leave with next steps?
Yes. Whether we’re auditing a platform or mapping out an idea, you’ll walk away with practical, doable improvements and clear action items.

Is there a commitment to keep working with you?
No pressure. These sessions are designed to give you immediate value in one hour whether it’s a one-time check-in or the start of a longer collaboration. I like checking in with clients on their projects, always curious to see how my advice plays out!

  • How do payments work?
I require a deposit for project-based work, and monthly retainers are billed in advance. Payments can be made by bank transfer, credit card, or another agreed-upon method.

Do you work with clients outside the U.S.?
Yes. My services are fully remote, and I work with clients internationally.

What is your availability, and how far in advance do I need to book?
I recommend booking at least 2–3 weeks in advance for project-based work. For one-on-one sessions, you can usually schedule within a week.

How do you tailor your services to fit the fluctuating income of creatives and small businesses?
I offer flexible structures, from smaller one-time projects to phased retainers, so you can get support that fits your current priorities and budget, while still building toward long-term growth.
